Joy Ryen Plotnik is a trustee at The Strong and a former attorney who focused on estate planning, elder law, and estate administration. Joy has also served on the board of several organizations, including the Monroe County Bar Association, Grantmakers Forum of New York, and The Harley School. In their free time, they volunteer with the Jewish Community Federation of Rochester.

Joy Ryen Plotnik received a Bachelor of Arts in American/United States Studies/Civilization from Brandeis University and a JD from Boston University School of Law. Joy also attended Brighton High School.
