Sharyl Ross, C.P.A. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the accounting and tax industry. Sharyl most recently worked as a Tax Director at Marcum LLP starting in December 2020. Prior to that, they served as a Managing Director at BDO from January 2015 to November 2020. During their time at BDO, they also held the role of Managing Director & Head of Family Office Services Tax Compliance Group from January 2015 to November 2020.

Before joining BDO, Sharyl worked as a Director at SS&G from January 2013 to December 2014, where they specialized in income and estate tax planning and compliance for middle market businesses and individuals. Sharyl also has experience as a Tax Partner and Tax Manager at SLSF from 2006 to 2012, providing tax consulting and compliance services to high net worth individuals and closely held businesses.

Sharyl started their career as a Tax Senior at FERS from September 1985 to October 1989 before working as an Audit/Tax Senior at Price Waterhouse from September 1981 to August 1985.

Sharyl Ross, C.P.A. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the years 1977 to 1981. Sharyl also holds the additional certification of CPA.
