Rod Sanders became VP, Chief Performance Officer in 2020 after serving as Vice President, Talent Management since 2018. Sanders works closely with talent management operations, collaborates with department heads and stakeholders to ensure all human capital initiatives are successfully implemented, executed and benefit the future of the company. He came to Marco’s in 2015 where he implemented a multi-level instructor program, effectively optimizing training delivery across Marco’s 1,000 plus locations and launched a performance management program.

Sanders’ background includes over two decades of leadership and professional development training for the U.S. Army, and also spent a few years as an adjunct professor of National Security and Intelligence management. Sanders holds a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University Phoenix, alongside a Master of Arts in Homeland Security from American Military University and a Bachelor of Science in Intelligence from National Intelligence University.
