Victoria Pearson

Vice President, Strategy, Research And External Affairs at March of Dimes Canada

Victoria Pearson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Victoria currently holds the position of Vice President, Strategy, Research and External Affairs at March of Dimes Canada since September 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Communications and Public Affairs at the same organization from February 2020 to September 2021.

Before joining March of Dimes Canada, Victoria worked at CNIB for more than a decade. Victoria'sroles at CNIB included Vice President, Strategy, Privacy and Enterprise Risk from June 2019 to February 2020, Senior Director Strategic Insights and Planning from June 2017 to June 2019, Senior Director, Strategic Planning and Corporate Communications from March 2015 to May 2017, Director, Strategy Implementation Project from April 2014 to March 2015, Director, Brand Communications from April 2012 to March 2014, and Manager and Senior Manager, Brand Communications from October 2008 to April 2012.

Prior to their tenure at CNIB, Victoria worked as the Coordinator and Manager of Communications at the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation from 2005 to 2008. Before that, they served as an Executive Assistant at the Office of Phil McNeely, MPP from 2004 to 2005. Victoria'scareer began as a Reporter at Orleans Star and Weekly Journal from 2002 to 2003.

Overall, Victoria Pearson has demonstrated expertise in strategy, research, communications, and public affairs in their various roles throughout their career.

Victoria Pearson completed their education with a Master's Degree in English Literature from Carleton University in 2004. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Humanities from the same university in 2003. In addition to their formal education, Victoria obtained a certification as a Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci in July 2023.
