Clara May is a designer specializing in UX/UI design at Mess, a Chicago-based design studio since February 2022. Prior to this role, Clara held positions as Events Graphic Designer and Graphic Design Intern at Red Hat from May 2019 to February 2022. Clara also served as Student Co-Director and Assistant Director for Art2Wear, NC State's major annual fashion show, from August 2017 to May 2020, overseeing a team of graphic designers, photographers, and videographers while communicating with fashion designers. Experience includes working as a Screen Printing Production Associate at The House of Swank Clothing Company in the summer of 2018, handling the complete screen printing process. Clara's editorial skills were honed as Design Editor for Windhover Literary Magazine, where all print and digital advertisements and collateral were designed. Clara holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from North Carolina State University, completing studies in 2020.
