Sofia Tsapara has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Sofia is currently working as the VP of Finance at Marathon Venture Capital since September 2023. Before that, they worked as the Accounting & Finance Manager at PeopleCert from November 2019 to September 2023. Prior to that, they held various roles at KPMG Greece, including Senior Manager, Manager, Supervising Senior Auditor, Senior Auditor, and Assistant Auditor from 2008 to 2019. Sofia Tsapara is a certified FCCA, CA, CIA, and holds a Masters degree.

Sofia Tsapara's education history is as follows:

- From 2009 to 2015, they attended ACCA and studied auditing.

- In 2009, they also enrolled in the Body of Chartered Auditors and Accountants of Greece (SOEL), specializing in audit and assurance, until 2012.

- Additionally, they obtained a Diploma in Evaluation and Analysis of Investments' Decisions from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon in 2009.

- Sofia holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon, which they completed from 2002 to 2007.

- In 2018 and 2019, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Professional Accountancy from the University of London.

Furthermore, Sofia Tsapara has obtained the following certifications:

- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in December 2020.

- GVV for investment professionals, earned from CFA Institute Ethics Learning Lab.
