Shannon Isom has a diverse work experience, starting in 2011 as a Graduate Assistant and Lab Assistant at Adelphi University. In 2012, they worked as a Personal Trainer at Bally Total Fitness and then transitioned to become an Exercise Physiologist at Beth Israel Medical Center. From 2013 to 2016, Shannon worked at Nurtur Health, Inc. as a Lead Health Coach, specializing in Exercise Health Coaching. Shannon then joined Centene Corporation in 2016 as a Manager in Health Operations. Most recently, Shannon is employed at Marathon Health, where they have held multiple roles including Client Advocate, Member Engagement Director - National Accounts, and currently serves as the Senior Director of Engagement.
Shannon Isom holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Exercise Physiology from Adelphi University, which was obtained from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, Shannon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Fitness Management from Henderson State University, completing it from 2005 to 2008. Shannon's secondary education was completed at Coronado High School from 2002 to 2005. Additionally, Shannon has obtained a certification as a Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist from the American College of Sports Medicine in December 2018.
