Mohammad Reza Vedady (Ph.D.) has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and research. Currently, they are serving as the Senior Hardware Lead Scientist at Mapsted, where they lead a team of engineers in the development of a tracking solution for indoor and outdoor applications. Their responsibilities include circuit design, firmware development, and software integration.

Previously, Mohammad was the CTO & Co-Founder of TransferFi, where they managed a team of engineers and interns to develop RF and IIoT products. Mohammad Reza was also involved in patent filing and played a key role in sales and marketing, securing strategic deals with international partners.

Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore, focusing on wireless power transfer and smart power grids. Mohammad Reza applied optimization techniques to improve efficiency and proposed a magnetic beamforming technique for wireless charging applications.

Additionally, Mohammad gained research experience as a Research Student at the Institute for Infocomm Research.

Mohammad Reza Vedady (Ph.D.) obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the National University of Singapore, completing their studies from 2011 to 2015.
