Emily Johnson, MS, has extensive experience in clinical research and operations. Emily has held roles such as Associate Director Clinical Operations at MapLight Therapeutics, Inc., Clinical Trial Lead at Arvinas, and Clinical Study Manager at Acadia Pharmaceuticals Inc. Emily's background includes work at PPD as a Senior Clinical Research Associate and roles at various academic institutions focusing on substance abuse, neuroimaging, and neurobiology of addiction.
Emily Johnson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UC San Diego, obtained in 2008. Emily continued their education with a Master of Science in Cognitive Neuroscience joint programme with UCL at the University of London from 2009 to 2010. In 2010, they pursued a Professional Certificate in Clinical Trials Design & Management at UC San Diego. Additionally, Emily has completed certifications including Certified Clinical Research Associate, Certified Phlebotomy Technician, and Certified Clinical Research Professional in 2013 and 2015. Currently, they are completing a program in Biotechnology Project Management at the University of Washington, expected to finish in 2022.
