Guillermo Bejarano

Head of Product Design at Mapit Iberia

Guillermo Bejarano has a strong background in product design, graphic design, and art direction. Guillermo began their career as a freelance graphic designer at Studio Graphic in 2006, where they worked on various projects such as corporate identity, editorial design, and corporate publications for clients including Battle i Roig, Enric Jardí, and Editorial Difusión. Guillermo continued to work as a freelancer in graphic design until 2021, collaborating with different agencies and publishers.

In 2004, Guillermo worked as a senior art director at Sponsorship & Events, where they were responsible for design projects related to corporate identity, corporate publications, signage, and events. Some of their notable clients during this time included Estrella Damm, Blackberry, BMW, and Volkswagen.

In 2010, Guillermo joined Revista Travel Manager as the director de arte, overseeing art direction for the magazine. Guillermo also continued their freelance work with Revista Travel Manager, further showcasing their expertise in art direction.

Most recently, Guillermo joined MAPIT IoT in 2020 as the Head of Product Design. Here, they led the product design, UX, UI, and branding efforts for the company, demonstrating their expertise in these areas.

Guillermo Bejarano has a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from the Universidad de Guanajuato, which they obtained between 1996 and 2001. Guillermo then pursued a Master's degree in Marketing at IDEC-Universitat Pompeu Fabra from 2002 to 2004. Subsequently, in 2005 and 2006, Guillermo completed a postgraduate program in Typography at the Universidad de Barcelona (EINA).
