Courtney is a licensed civil engineer with a passion for stormwater. She has experience in stormwater management and BMP
selection and design. She has prepared numerous SWPPPs, and site-specific Stormwater Monitoring Programs; developed and conducted training for NPDES compliance; and conducted over 100 NPDES compliance audits throughout California, Arizona, Colorado, and Nevada.
Growing up in the desert, she was fascinated at a young age by the impact rain has on the environment. She began her career in Nevada, where she focused on stormwater infrastructure projects. After completing her masters, she shifted her work to focus on pollution prevention.
She holds a bachelor’s in civil engineering from the University of Nevada Reno, and a Master in Civil Engineering with a focus on Water Resources from San Diego State University.
