William Wise is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the insurance industry. Currently serving as VP, Chief Compliance Officer and Lead Regulatory Counsel at MAPFRE since April 2024, William previously held the position of Senior Legal Counsel at Plymouth Rock Assurance from October 2019 to April 2024. William's tenure at Liberty Mutual Insurance spanned from 2007 to 2019, where roles included Senior Counsel for Global Consumer Markets and Director of Litigation and Claims Compliance. Prior to Liberty Mutual, William gained experience as an Associate at McGovern & Ganem, PC. William holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Connecticut School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of Virginia.
