Nirasha Kumar serves as an Energy Advocate for the City of Framingham, focusing on increasing participation in the Mass Save Community First Partnership initiative and implementing targeted energy efficiency programs. In addition, Nirasha holds the position of Paulson-Frost Practitioner Fellow at Wellesley College, leading hands-on projects related to energy justice while engaging in group discussions. As a Climate Equity Advisor with the Metropolitan Area Planning Council, Nirasha collaborates on climate preparedness efforts with local towns. Previously, Nirasha worked as a Climate Equity Community Liaison at MAPC, continuing efforts to boost community engagement in energy programs. Additionally, Nirasha is the founder and editor of MommyNiri.com, with extensive experience as a content creator and ambassador for various brands, including National Geographic Kids and Verizon Wireless.
