Jeff Marquez has a diverse range of work experience in the technology industry. Jeff most recently worked at Manulife as the AVP, Principal Architect, Global Architecture - API Strategy, where they defined the API strategy for the Global Wealth and Management segment. Prior to that, they were at Charles Schwab, serving as the Principal Architect for Cross Enterprise Architecture and later as the Principal Architect for Advisor Services - API Strategy. At Charles Schwab, they led and advised on API design principles and governance, as well as played a key role in developing the company-wide RESTful API style guide. Before joining Charles Schwab, Jeff worked at Shutterstock as a Sr. Node.js Engineer - API Platform, contributing to the development and architecture of the company's public APIs. Jeff also worked at Pearson as a Sr. Software Engineer, leading the design and development of SaaS RESTful web services. Jeff began their career at Sogeti as a Sr. Consultant, focusing on the expansion of client data services. Jeff also worked at US Airways as a Technologies Lead, specializing in technical and airline operations.
