Dr. Rizwan Ahmad is a seasoned professional in information security and governance, serving as a Member of the IEEE P2302 Working Group and an International Honor Member of Beta Gamma Sigma since 2014. With extensive involvement in various committees, including the IT-030 ANZ Joint Committee for IT Governance and Management and SC27 WG for Standards New Zealand, Dr. Ahmad also holds the position of Managing Director at Cianaa Technologies, specializing in security testing and governance. As a Senior Lecturer at Manukau Institute of Technology, Dr. Ahmad focuses on cloud computing research and has contributed significantly to cloud security standards globally. Additionally, roles at PECB as an ISO 27001 Master Auditor and past leadership with the Cloud Security Alliance further establish Dr. Ahmad's expertise in cloud security policy development. Holding a PhD from the University of Auckland, along with multiple degrees in information security and law, Dr. Ahmad brings a comprehensive educational background to the field.
