Dr. Miguel Fernandez-Vicente is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product development and engineering, currently serving as Product Development Manager at the Manufacturing Technology Centre since April 2017. In this role, Dr. Fernandez-Vicente leads product strategy for a large team of over 100 engineers and designers, overseeing customer engagement and proposal initiatives across various sectors. Previous roles include Senior Research Engineer, where Dr. Fernandez-Vicente provided technical leadership and mentoring, and several positions focused on design for additive manufacturing. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering Design from Universitat Politècnica de València, complemented by a Master's and Bachelor's in the same field, along with additional experience as a lecturer and researcher.
