Laura Tester Meyer is a CPA and CGMA with extensive work experience in finance, operations, and organizational development. Laura Tester currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Manna Inc., a leading non-profit affordable housing developer and counselor in Washington D.C. Prior to this role, Laura operated their own consulting practice, LTM Advising, where they provided administrative, financial, and organizational development services to businesses and nonprofits. Laura Tester has held executive positions at various organizations, including the Downtown Partnership of Baltimore, The Obesity Society, and the National Society of Professional Engineers. Throughout their career, Laura has demonstrated a strong ability to lead structural reorganizations, implement systems and SOPs, and drive operational excellence. Laura Tester has also played key roles in turnaround strategies, financial analysis, and strategic planning. Laura's diverse experience encompasses industries such as biotech, plastics, and religious societies. Laura Tester is known for their expertise in financial management, compliance, and risk assessment.

Laura Tester Meyer, CPA, CGMA, obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a focus on Management and Human Resources from Towson University. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree through Loyola University Maryland's Fellows Program, which they completed from 1990 to 1993.

Along with their educational achievements, Meyer has obtained several additional certifications throughout their career. In 1999, they became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) through the Maryland Association of CPAs (MACPA). Later, in September 2014, they earned the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation from the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).
