Laura Tester Meyer, CPA, CGMA, obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a focus on Management and Human Resources from Towson University. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree through Loyola University Maryland's Fellows Program, which they completed from 1990 to 1993.
Along with their educational achievements, Meyer has obtained several additional certifications throughout their career. In 1999, they became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) through the Maryland Association of CPAs (MACPA). Later, in September 2014, they earned the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation from the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).
