Shaun Smith has a strong work experience in the field of information systems. Shaun started their career as a Help Desk Support Technician at Cumberland Valley Network in 1997. Shaun then worked as an Intranet Web Developer at First Data Merchant Services from 2000 to 2001. Shaun then joined Integrated Communication Solutions, Inc. (ICS) as a Systems Administrator and worked there from 2001 to 2007. Shaun then worked at Global Data Consultants as a Network Engineer/SQL DBA from 2007 to 2011. Currently, Shaun Smith is working at The Manitowoc Company, where they initially started as a Senior IS Systems Administrator, and later got promoted to the position of Lead IS Systems Administrator in 2018.

Shaun Smith, VCP completed their education at Hagerstown Community College from 1997 to 2000, earning an Associates degree in Computer Information Systems. Shaun also obtained the VMware Certified Professional 6 - Data Center Virtualization (VCP6-DCV) certification from VMware in 2019.
