Ely Cyrus is an experienced leader with a diverse background in governance, social services, and technology. Serving as Chairman of NANA Development Corporation since April 2015, and as a Director at NANA Regional Corporation since March 2014, Ely also holds the position of TANF Lead Caseworker at Maniilaq Association since May 2007. Additional roles include President and Director at Kiana Traditional Council since September 2009, and former Vice Mayor of the City of Kiana from September 2010 to October 2014. Ely’s educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, an Associate's Degree in Rural Counseling from Rural Human Services, and an Associate's Degree in Accounting and Business Management from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Ely also attended Kiana High School and Mt. Edgecumbe High School, graduating in 2008 and 2007, respectively.
