Lawrence Taub, PhD, is a highly experienced professional in cybersecurity and incident response, currently serving as Managing Director of Mandiant Consulting Services within Google Cloud since May 2019, with previous roles including Director and Senior Manager in the same company. Taub has also been an Adjunct Professor at the Florida Institute of Technology since October 2013, teaching courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Prior experience includes positions as Director of Security Incident Response and Threat Management at Global Payments Inc., where team capabilities were enhanced, and teaching security boot camps at Georgia Institute of Technology. Additional significant roles include Senior Manager of Service Enablement at Akamai Technologies, Security Operations Center Manager at Harris Corporation, and Security Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Taub holds a PhD in Computer Information Systems with a focus on Information Security from Nova Southeastern University, along with a Master's and Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida.
