Angelo Perniola is a Principal Consultant at Mandiant, part of Google Cloud, since October 2018, specializing in advanced threat detection and response capabilities. Previously, Angelo served as a Senior and Strategic Consultant at KPMG Nederland, where responsibilities included leading cyber defense engagements and enhancing threat detection strategies. Prior experience includes roles at RSA Security as an Advisory Consultant and Senior Consultant, delivering cybersecurity services across various sectors in the EMEA region. Angelo's career began with SOC management and security analysis at Lepida S.p.A., followed by IT security roles at Regione Emilia-Romagna and Infosec Srl, along with an early internship at IBM Zurich Research Laboratory. A former Army Officer, Angelo led units during NATO missions and holds an MBA from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and a degree in Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma.
