Michael Koth serves as the General Manager of Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental and Area Vice President of Operations for the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group since July 2020. Koth's extensive experience in the hospitality industry includes a 23-year tenure at InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®), where roles ranged from Director of Operations for the Levant region to General Manager of iconic properties in Bahrain, Kuwait, Cairo, and Doha. Koth's leadership focus encompasses building excellence in operations, motivating teams, and fostering competitive cultures. Educational credentials include a Certified Chef and Hotel Management degree from Berufs & Handelsschule Hamburg and a high school diploma from Realschule Reinbek in Germany.
