Product Design And Development Manager at Manchester United

Leanne Cracknell has a diverse work experience in the field of product design and development. Leanne currently holds the position of Product Design and Development Manager at Manchester United, starting in March 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Product Designer at Manchester United from March 2020 to March 2021.

Before joining Manchester United, Leanne worked at Focus International from April 2018 to March 2020 as an Apparel Designer. Their responsibilities included designing men's, women's, and kids fashion and sportswear for the DACH region, as well as working on the main range apparel for the ellesse sports team. Leanne also managed special make-up (SMU) projects for customers such as Zalando, Snipes, and Peek & Cloppenburg.

From February 2015 to March 2018, Leanne worked at Canterbury as a Graphic Designer, specializing in training and on-field apparel. Leanne designed graphics for seasonal branded apparel, packaging, rugby balls, luggage, and protective wear. Additionally, they were responsible for designing licensed club apparel for brands such as England, Ireland, British and Irish Lions, Bath, Leinster, and Ospreys.

Leanne gained experience at Lacoste in various roles from September 2014 to February 2015. Leanne started as a Junior Designer and later worked as an Assistant Category Executive. At Lacoste, they gained exposure to different aspects of the design process.

Leanne began their career in 2013 as a Junior Designer at Pentland Brands through an 11-month internship. During this time, they worked on a variety of projects across multiple brands, including Speedo, Lacoste, Canterbury, ellesse, Kickers, Kangaroos, Mitre, Prostar, and Red or Dead.

Overall, Leanne Cracknell has gained valuable experience in product design and development, with a focus on apparel, graphics, packaging, luggage, and sports equipment.

Leanne Cracknell completed their education at Northumbria University from 2009 to 2013, earning a BA (Hons) degree in Design for Industry with a 2:1 classification. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including the Coach Sports Leadership Award (CSLA) in 2008, the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Award in 2005, Grade 4 Piano Theory from The Associated Board of the Royal School of Music, and Grade 5 Piano from the same institution.
