Martin Carr is an experienced professional with a diverse background in consultancy, governance, and the arts. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees for Manchester Camerata since October 2021, Martin is also the Founding Partner at Boardroom Consulting LLP, where expertise lies in strategic consultancy focused on organizational identity and growth. Previous leadership roles include Chair of the Board of Trustees at People's History Museum from 2011 to November 2021, Director of Manchester Literature Festival from March 2015 to February 2018, and Managing Partner at True North - Brand Consultants from June 2001 to August 2016. Martin Carr holds a degree from the University of Birmingham, attained between 1984 and 1987.
