Anupama S. is a seasoned professional in health economics and financing, currently serving as Principal Technical Advisor at Management Sciences for Health since July 2024. This role includes thought leadership, supporting financing projects, and global knowledge dissemination on health financing. Previous experience includes consulting for The Asia Foundation on health solutions within the USAID-India Triangular Development Partnership, and serving as a Municipality Health & Food Safety Expert for the Agartala City Urban Development Project with ADB. Anupama S. also held key roles at the National Health Systems Resource Centre, conducting National Quality Assurance audits, and as Director of M&E at Health Protection and Research Organisation, overseeing major evaluation projects. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Ecorys India and the International Institute of Health Management Research. Anupama S. holds an MS in Global Health Policy and Management from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, an MBA in Healthcare from IIHMR University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Radiology from University College of Medical Sciences.
