Daryl Whitman has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries.
Daryl began their career in 1997 as a Currency Trader at Ruesch International, where they sold foreign currencies and provided market information to clients.
In 2000, Whitman joined CohnReznick LLP as a Management Consultant, where they conducted financial analyses, implemented operational improvements, and developed marketing materials.
From 2001 to 2004, Whitman worked at UnitedHealth Group, serving as a Six Sigma Black Belt and Senior Financial Analyst. In this role, they led project teams, implemented process improvements, and presented findings to senior management.
Whitman then joined Managed Care Advisors in 2004 as a Senior Consultant, managing the Federal Workers’ Compensation program and negotiating contract terms.
Daryl later moved to Hanger, Inc. in 2007, initially as a Senior Director of Finance & Administration and later as the Vice President of Operations & Administration for the Linkia division. Daryl successfully executed strategic plans, improved processes, and managed project teams.
Returning to Managed Care Advisors in 2015, Whitman was appointed Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director. Daryl led the company's strategic planning efforts, managed mergers and acquisitions, and implemented operational and financial systems for scalability and efficiency.
Throughout their career, Whitman has demonstrated leadership, strategic planning, and operational expertise, driving the success and growth of the organizations they have worked for.
Daryl Whitman has a Master's degree in Business Administration from Loyola University Maryland Sellinger School of Business and Management, which was obtained in 2002. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Delaware in 1997. Daryl completed their high school education at Sherwood High School in 1993. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) certification from UnitedHealth Group in 2004. Recently, Daryl earned a Psychology of Leadership Certificate from Cornell University in September 2022.
