Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing collaborative solutions for interactive whiteboards and educational devices at SMART Technologies since July 2010. Prior to this role, Chris worked as a firmware engineer, contributing to the development of firmware and diagnostic tools. Experience also includes electronics contracting at Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris focused on designing and repairing educational devices, and serving as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary. Earlier positions include working as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, developing control systems for the forestry industry. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
