Dorte Kubel is a Regulatory Affairs Manager at MAN Energy Solutions, specializing in greenhouse gas emissions, energy efficiency, and exhaust gas emissions related to international shipping since November 2018. Kubel chairs the EUROMOT Marine Subgroup for Seagoing Engines and leads the EUROMOT delegation at the International Maritime Organization (IMO). Prior experience includes serving as Chief Adviser at the Danish Ministry of the Environment - Environmental Protection Agency, focusing on air pollution regulations for shipping and coordinating Denmark's involvement in MEPC meetings. Additional roles include contributing to the Centre for Green Transport, working on air pollution regulations at the Danish Environmental Protection Agency, and holding a research engineer position at MAN B&W Diesel A/S. Dorte Kubel holds a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark, completed in 1995.
