Sofia Floreby currently serves as an Utvecklingssamordnare at Malmö stad since April 2024, focusing on internal management and support. Prior to this, Sofia worked as a Projektledare at Kävlinge kommun from November 2015 to April 2024, leading significant projects including the relocation to a new municipal office and the EU-funded PEPP initiative aimed at promoting sustainable work environments. In addition, Sofia held the position of EU-strateg, overseeing EU-related activities in Kävlinge and Staffanstorp, and has extensive experience from Kommunförbundet Skåne, where roles included Head of European Affairs and Executive Officer, managing EU financing and strategic development. Earlier experience includes project leadership for the EU project IRÉN while at Region Skåne. Sofia holds a Master of Science in Political Science from Lund University and a Filosofie kandidatexamen from the University of Gothenburg, encompassing various disciplines related to social sciences.
