Annica Axelsson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supply chain management, procurement, and strategic purchasing across multiple industries. Currently serving as Sektionschef Hållbarhet och uppföljning at Malmö stad since December 2019, Annica also holds the title of Upphandlare och kategoriansvarig för livsmedel. Previously, Annica was Head of Supply Chain at Light My Fire, leading production and warehouse operations and executing projects focused on biobased materials. Annica held senior roles at BoKlok, including Senior Strategic Buyer, and at Region Skåne, managing innovative projects and category segments. Annica's early career includes positions at Sony Mobile Communications, IKEA Group, and Swetrail AB, specializing in strategic purchasing and logistics. Annica earned a Master’s degree in Industriell system ekonomi from Växjö University.
