Deanna Smith, Ed.S. is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in school administration and curriculum development. Since June 2016, Deanna has served as the Executive Director of Mallard Creek STEM Academy, a public charter school for grades K-8. Prior to this role, Deanna was the Founding Principal of Just for Girls Academy, an all-girls public charter school focused on empowering young women. Deanna's experience also includes various positions at Imagine Schools, where roles encompassed Curriculum Leader and ESE Coordinator/Instructional Coach, as well as teaching positions at multiple elementary schools. Deanna holds an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership and Administration from Argosy University, an MS Ed in Literacy from Long Island University, and a BS in Child Study from Saint Joseph’s College.
