Mia Rico is an accomplished animator and designer with substantial experience in the animation and illustration industry. Currently serving as an animator and junior animator at MALKA since October 2020, Mia has animated motion graphics for notable brands such as Twitch, Amazon, and Deloitte, while also storyboarding commercials for clients including Citi and Uber Eats. As a freelancer since May 2012, Mia has contributed to projects such as the upcoming video game "Tales of the Orange City" and the independent animated series "Gills & Gulls." Previous roles include designer for The Madison Square Garden Company, where Mia created custom motion graphics and illustrated assets for high-profile artists. Additional experience includes internships focused on illustration and animation during which Mia developed skills in storytelling and character design. Mia holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Animation from Montclair State University, earned in 2019.
