Umar Faruk has extensive experience in community and demand creation roles, currently serving as an LGA Field Officer and previously as a Demand Creation Officer at Malaria Consortium since April 2017. Prior to this, Umar worked as a Community Development Outreach Officer at Mobilizing for Development from January 2014 to November 2017. Umar holds a Master's degree in Strategic Communication from Ahmadu Bello University, completed in 2018, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communication from the same institution in 2012. Additionally, Umar earned a Higher National Diploma in Mass Communication from Kaduna Polytechnic in 2009.
