Sienna Fontaine has extensive experience in legal leadership and advocacy, currently serving as the Legal Director and General Counsel at Make the Road New York since October 2015, after holding positions as Co-Legal Director and Deputy Legal Director. Prior to this role, Sienna held the position of Director of the Public Benefits Unit and worked as a Staff Attorney and Skadden Fellow at Legal Services NYC - Bronx from September 2007 to October 2015. Sienna Fontaine earned a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Spanish from the University of California, Berkeley.
