Corinna Svarlien is a dedicated legal professional currently serving as a Staff Attorney for the Workplace Justice Project at Make the Road New York since June 2022. Svarlien's previous experience includes an Excelsior Fellowship at the NYS Division of Human Rights, as well as multiple legal internships at organizations such as Catholic Migration Services, The Legal Aid Society, the US Department of Labor, New York Taxi Workers Alliance, and National Employment Law Project. Prior to legal practice, Svarlien completed an AmeriCorps VISTA term in Outreach and Communications at Kentucky Equal Justice Center and served as a Language and Culture Assistant in Spain. Svarlien holds a law degree from Columbia Law School and a bachelor's degree from Scripps College.
