Mario Franchin currently serves as the North & East Africa Region Vice President at MAIRE since February 2023. Previously, Mario held multiple senior roles at Snam from August 2017 to January 2024, including Area Manager North Africa and Senior Vice President positions in both Liquefaction and Commercial Global Solutions. Additionally, Mario was Chairman of the Supervisory Board at AGSco from November 2019 until January 2024. Prior experience includes serving as Regional Manager North America at Saipem and Managing Director at Saipem Libyan Company. Mario also held positions as Country Manager and Area Manager in Venezuela at Saipem. Early career experience includes Project Manager at Salini Costruttori s.p.a. Mario earned an Engineer's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna between 1996 and 2003.
