Karan joined Mainsail in 2022, and is responsible for sourcing, executing, and supporting new portfolio investments.

Prior to joining Mainsail, Karan was an investment banker in the Financial Institutions Group at Deutsche Bank. While at Deutsche Bank, Karan advised on a range of M&A and capital raising transactions for various FinTech and Asset Management companies.

Karan graduated from UCLA, where he earned a B.S. in Statistics. While at UCLA, Karan also continued to run Swisk, a ridesharing startup that helped connect individuals to transportation services best suited for their needs.
