Shane Spring is an experienced Network Controller at MainPower New Zealand Limited since August 2019, with a background in system coordination and power generation. Prior roles include System Coordinator at Transpower New Zealand, Generation Controller at Contact Energy Ltd, and Operator positions at both Genesis Energy and Alinta Energy. Shane has a foundation in power station operation from roles as Operator Trainee at Genesis Energy and Industry Trainee at Firth Industries, as well as experience in technical maintenance as a Saw Doctor at Carter Holt Harvey. Education includes a Level 5 National Certificate in Business Computing from Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology.
