Billy Sprout has had an extensive career in the esports industry. In 2011, they began their career as a Student Systems Administrator for the UConn Division of Student Affairs. In 2012, they founded the UConn Gaming Club and served as President, quickly becoming the largest student gaming organization in the state. In 2014, they worked as a TeSPA Strategic Programs Intern for Blizzard Entertainment, where they were responsible for business strategy and strategic programs, user experience and interface design, and knowledgebase content production. From 2015 to 2020, they worked for Tespa in various roles, including Associate Esports Manager, Collegiate Esports Coordinator, and Eastern Regional Collegiate Coordinator. In 2020, they joined Mainline as Director of Collegiate Esports.
Billy Sprout attended Tolland High School from 2007 to 2011, and then went on to the University of Connecticut from 2011 to 2016.
