Kjartan Emilsson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the gaming and technology sectors. Currently serving as an Advisory Board Member at Chaotic Works since December 2023, Kjartan has held the position of Chief Technology Officer and Founder at Mainframe Industries since August 2019 and serves as CEO and Co-Founder of Sólfar Studios from October 2014 onward. Previously, Kjartan worked at CCP from June 2001 to September 2014, where roles included Principal Game Designer, Managing Director of CCP Asia, and Lead Game Designer for the renowned MMORPG EVE Online. Additional experience includes serving as Chief Technology Officer for OZ Communications and a Web Specialist at the Reykjavik Advertising Agency. Kjartan holds a PhD in Mathematical Physics from Université Côte d'Azur and has engaged in research at both the Arizona Center for Mathematical Sciences and The Science Institute of the University of Iceland.
