Ryan Neilson has extensive experience in the healthcare and research sectors, currently serving as a Research Associate at the MaineHealth Institute for Research since January 2020, following a role as a Research Assistant. Additional experience includes working as Support Staff at Specialized Housing, Inc., and serving as an Emergency Medical Technician at North East Mobile Health Services from August 2019 to January 2023. Prior roles include a Laboratory Technician at Manpower Maine and a Summer Academic Intern at MaineHealth Institute for Research as part of a research program. Earlier experience includes positions as a Behavioral Health Professional at Affinity Care of Maine and a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health. Ryan holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology from the University of Southern Maine and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Bioinformatics at Northeastern University.
