Mahadevan Pichandi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Mahadevan is currently serving as the Head of Vehicle Engineering and General Manager at Mahindra Last Mile Mobility since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Ashok Leyland from October 2016 to May 2022, holding the position of AGM in Product Development.

Before joining Ashok Leyland, Mahadevan worked at Nissan Ashok Leyland Limited from February 2014 to September 2016 as the Head of Chassis Engineering and Vehicle Dynamics, and from September 2007 to January 2014 as the Lead in Vehicle Integration and Aggregates.

Mahadevan also gained experience at Tata Motors as a Lead in Vehicle Integration from June 2006 to August 2007, and at IIT Guwahati as a Research Assistant from June 2005 to May 2006.

Mahadevan Pichandi earned their Master's degree in Machine Design from IIT Guwahati, where they studied from 2004 to 2006.
