Istvan Vago is a Senior Development Engineer at Magyar Telekom, with a career spanning over three decades in the telecommunications industry. Since August 1991, Istvan has specialized in the specification, recommendation, and testing of fibre optics network elements, including fibres, cables, closures, and optical distribution frames (ODFs), primarily focusing on FTTx networks. Prior to this role, Istvan worked as a Development Engineer at the Research Institute for Telecommunications from September 1986 to August 1991. Istvan holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, earned between 1981 and 1986.
