Allen Hughes is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the energy and utilities sectors. As the Director of Engineering at Magnolia River since April 2013, Allen oversees engineering design, inspection, GIS services, and project management, specializing in turn-key pipeline designs. Previously, Allen held various roles at Sheffield Utilities from May 1994 to April 2013, including Civil Manager and General Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing multiple departments and budgets while serving thousands of customers. Allen also served as General Manager at Sewer Services, Inc., directing operations focused on environmental rehabilitation, and as Distribution Engineering Supervisor at Atlanta Gas Light, managing engineering teams for a significant customer base. Allen holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Auburn University, earned between 1980 and 1985.
