Murat Akbas, M.Ed., serves as the Director of People Analytics and Compliance at Magnolia Public Schools since July 2018, where responsibilities include policy implementation, HR compliance monitoring, and data analytics utilizing systems such as Salesforce and Tableau. Prior experience encompasses various HR roles at AlphaStar Academy and positions in translation and interpretation at Continental Interpreting Services, Inc. and CyraCom Language Solutions. An educator at heart, Murat has held roles ranging from Assistant Principal to Chief Academic Officer, with a robust background in HR and outreach management at ACCORD RESEARCH AND EDUCATIONAL ASSOC INC and Bay Area Technology School. Murat's educational credentials include a Master's degree in Education from the National University of Mongolia, along with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry Education from Marmara University and an exchange program at Beloit College.
