Celene Vargas has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. Celene began their career as a Staff Writer for La Verne Magazine and also worked as a Freelance Reporter for Pasadena Weekly, where they showcased their writing skills across a wide range of topics. Celene then worked as the Editorial Director for Campus Times, where they managed editorial content and layout.
In 2016, Celene became the Editor-in-Chief of La Verne Magazine, leading a team of writers and overseeing the production of an award-winning city magazine. Celene also gained experience as a Social Media Manager for PJ's Surfrider, successfully increasing the store's Instagram followers.
Celene later joined Regency Outdoor Advertising, Inc. as an Associate Media Consultant, where they collaborated with different departments and developed new accounts to improve advertising efforts.
In 2020, Celene transitioned to the digital advertising industry, working as a Technical Account Manager for both Version2 and Magnitude of Change. In this role, they were responsible for planning and managing advertising campaigns on an AdOps level, ensuring the successful delivery of each campaign by coordinating with teams across the company.
Most recently, Celene has taken on the position of Programmatic Trader at both Version2 and Magnitude of Change, demonstrating their expertise in programmatic trading.
Celene Vargas obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from the University of La Verne, where they studied from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their degree, they have also earned various certifications from The Trade Desk's Edge Academy. Celene obtained certifications such as "Edge Academy Certified: Data-Driven Planning" and "Edge Academy Certified: Marketing Foundations" in July 2020. Most recently, in February 2023, they completed the "Edge Academy Certified: Executive Program" and "Edge Academy: Trading Essentials" certifications from The Trade Desk.
