Nick Laub is an experienced investor specializing in venture and growth equity investments within the technology and AI sectors. Currently serving as an Investor at Magnetar since February 2024, Laub previously held the position of Head of Strategic Finance & Investments at Heretic Ventures, where significant focus was placed on building and investing in AI and emerging technology companies, including Recraft.ai and Cartwheel. Prior to that, Laub was involved in growth investing and advisory at Evolution Media Capital, contributing to a portfolio featuring notable companies such as Scopely, Masterclass, and Calm. Laub began the career in global talent representation at Creative Artists Agency and holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a degree in Political Science and Economics from Colgate University.
