Jiyong Rafael Lim is a seasoned professional in the semiconductor industry with extensive experience in various leadership roles at MagnaChip Semiconductor, including Head of HPD Group and Power Discrete Team Manager. Prior positions include Sr. Manager at MagnaChip Semiconductor, Director at BridgePole Investment Co., Ltd., and Team Leader at JAFCO Investment (Asia Pacific) Ltd. Jiyong Rafael Lim has also held engineering positions at ON Semiconductor, Fairchild, Synopsys, and TRinno Technology, focusing on design and process engineering for power semiconductor devices. Academic achievements include a Master of Business Administration from Seoul National University, a PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Seoul National University, and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering from the same institution. Jiyong Rafael Lim further enhanced expertise through a specialized program at the Yale School of Management.
