Giovanna Avello has extensive experience in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) strategy and program management, currently holding the position of Global Culture & Inclusion at Magic Leap since March 2016. Prior roles at Magic Leap include Senior DEIB Project Manager, Employee Experience Program Manager, People Engagement Specialist, University Relations Coordinator, and Talent Acquisition Technical Sourcer. Before joining Magic Leap, Giovanna served as a Customer Service Supervisor at Whole Foods Market from September 2013 to March 2016. Giovanna holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Anthropology from the University of Florida, earned between 2009 and 2013.
