Erik V. currently serves as the Director and Head of Green Fuels Origination & Natural Climate Solutions at A.P. Moller - Maersk, leading a global team in the Green Fuels and Voluntary Carbon markets. Prior to this position, Erik V. held multiple roles at Shell from February 2011 to July 2023, including Head of NBD & Investments in Low Carbon Fuels, Senior Strategy Consultant, and Senior Trader, focusing on biofuels, equity investments, and trading in energy markets. Erik V. began an energy trading career at bp and Essent Energy Trading, trading European natural gas and optimizing power plants. Education includes an Executive MBA from Saïd Business School, a Diploma of Advanced Studies from the University of Geneva, and a Bachelor of Applied Science from Fontys University of Applied Sciences.
